HPB National Steps Challenge Season 6 (NSC6) - Guide to Registration, Steps Tracker Collection & Rewards

Have you heard? The National Steps Challenge is back bigger and greater with another season! Season 6 kick-started on 1 October 2021 and will run for five months, till 31 March 2022.

Instead of being a couch potato and figuring out the conspiracies of Squid Game, move and feel good with us!

Of course, not everyone is aware of this challenge. So, if you are one of the clueless ones who googled to see where you can redeem a free fitness tracker to earn rewards easily...fret not, let us guide you.

From how to sign up to where to redeem the free tracker to how the program works, this blog covers everything you need to know under the sun about the National Steps Challenge Season 6.

So, what is the National Steps Challenge Season 6 about?

The National Steps Challenge was first initiated by the Health Promotion Board (HPB) in 2015 to encourage citizens to be more active physically. This season, as usual, just by participating actively in the programmes and completing activities such as clocking steps and engaging in 150-minutes/week of Moderate to Vigorous Physical Activities (MVPA), you can earn Healthpoints and redeem attractive rewards.

However, do note that only new participants can earn up to S$85.00 worth of e-vouchers by exchanging earned Healthpoints under the challenge programme! Participants who had previously completed all the six tiers of the Steps Rewards and MVPA categories before 30 April 2020 will not earn Healthpoints from these two categories, respectively.

Get ready for that energy boost!

I HEARD I CAN EARN POINTS JUST BY SLEEPING?

That’s right, you heard it right. You can earn points just by having a good night sleep.

Look around you, who is not always staying up late or waking up early to mug or do work, even on a weekend? We are ALWAYS TIRED, always.

To encourage citizens to have more sufficient and wholesome rest time, HPB launches the Sleep Challenge this season.

    How does this work?

The Sleep Challenge will only be unlocked once you have completed the requirements of Tiers 1-6 under the Steps Category.

Are you keen? Eligible participants can register from now till 31 March 2022. The Sleep Challenge will officially start from 1 November 2021 to 1 April 2022.

I converted some points into a e-voucher using the HPB app, but when I tried to use it to top up my Passion Ez- link card, was told “CEPAS” card currently cannot be credited, must wait for upgrade of CEPAS card. Wait then when, it does not say.
